The way to survive LDR =)

How to survive the LDR? It may look simple, but when it comes to the actual execution, it may take more than your effort.. =)

The very first thing you have to do is establish an effective communication channel. Skype call is the most convenient way i think..You can see his face expression while talking to you. Uhm..This is the most often way i used to do, but not now. Phone call is another channel to communicate with your love one if his/her area doesn't have any internet connection. Try to shorten Your distance as well..Our way to communicate each other is......SECRET =D

2nd, Plan to meet each other. Theres nothing more important than this~ This will help both of you and your love one to catch up with each other over the things that you cannot do while apart, like NOW.. The anticipation or desire of seeing each other again will always give you the excitement + hope in your LDR..DEC DEC.. =)

3rd, Build hobby that you can both share. Both of you will have something to share or discuss and work on throughout your distance relationship. Uhm..We only chit-chat about our family, friends, Uni, our past as well and so on. Sometimes I will look forward to the World Cup Fifa results because of him..He likes Football very much.. xP

4th, Surprise your partner. Occasionally surprise your partner with cards, letter and gifts. Put your imagination to use and your partner will be sure to love your effort in keeping them happy. Sending an unexpected gifts to your partner will always spice up your LDR regardless how far apart, like what he did, The postcard he send to me every week.. =)

5th, Capture and share that interesting moment. This will indirectly keep your partner informed on what has happen in your life despite the physical distance. I only used to do this with my buddy in other country, but not him. We seldom share our photo. We will try to work on this when he go back to his Uni @ minnesota.. =)

Theres many other way to survive a LDR. Believe yourself, believe your partner.. =D
